A nice winter themed painting of a cool barn thingy in Tappan NY. Fun! I've been working a bit larger lately. My last few pieces (like this one) are all 11x14 (that's 16x20 framed) and I'm loving the way they are coming out. Happy holidays everyone!
I've been doing alot of painting with the holidays approaching and shows winding down. I have two paintings hanging at the Art Alliance on Monmouth St. in Red Bank....Pumpkin Pickin' and English Verbascum. They are having their 100 sq in show where all the work must be under that size. There are some really interesting pieces there in various mediums. Go over to Red Bank, do some holiday shopping and take a look. Makes for a nice afternoon...they are open until 4:00 on Saturdays.
Hey everyone! Big announcement! I was in my first juried show and not only was my piece accepted but it SOLD! Also please don't forget to check out my RedBubble site! Maybe pick up a Christmas card?
I'm submitting these punkies to the "100 Inches" Monmouth Art Alliance show. The idea is all the pieces are a maximum of 100 square inches. Fun!
Hey Ladies!!!!!
We were in Salvador Brazil this year for the Boa Morte festival or 'Sisterhood of the Good Death’. These ladies were a challenge to paint but I'm super happy with how they came out so I'm submitting them to The Monmouth Council for the Arts 30th Annual Juried Show. Join us for the opening reception on January 17th from 3:00-5:00PM at the Monmouth Museum located on the Brookdale Community College Campus in Lincroft, NJ.
